We are pleased to invite sisters (16+) to take part in our Ramadan Quran Memorisation Competition, hosted by The Olton Project.
This competition is a beautiful opportunity to strengthen your connection with the Quran during Ramadan and take part in a supportive and uplifting environment.
🗓️ Date:
Friday 6th March 2026 (AM, may move to PM depending on entries)
📍 Venue:
The Olton Project, Kineton Green Rd, Olton, Solihull B92 7DY
📝 Registration:
- Registration deadline: 20th February 2026
- Entry fee: £10 (all proceeds go towards The Olton Project charity)
- Register via the QR code / website
- No limit on the number of participants
📚 Competition Levels (choose ONE level only):
- Level 1: Surah Al-Jumu‘ah
- Level 2: Surah Ad-Dukhan
- Level 3: Surah Al-Kahf
⏱️ On the Day:
- Each participant will be given a 10-minute time slot
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your allocated time
- You will be asked to recite from three different starting points
- Recitation will be assessed on memorisation accuracy, tajweed, fluency, and melody
- Verbal feedback will be provided on the day
🎉 Awards & Certificates:
- 1st and 2nd place prizes for each level
- Certificates for all participants
- Awards will be presented at a celebration ceremony during the first Friday coffee morning after Ramadan
