You may have noticed recent changes at The Olton Project aimed at improving our parking facilities. These changes include the resurfacing of the car park, marked parking spaces, and an increase in on-site parking capacity. Additionally, we have established a one-way flow of traffic through the site to enhance day-to-day usability.

At The Olton Project (TOP), we continue to permit parents of children attending Kineton Green School to park on the site during drop-off and pickup times. This accommodation significantly improves traffic flow during these busy periods.

For larger events where attendance is expected to be higher than usual, TOP provides parking stewards and places cones in areas that may pose potential hazards near entrances and exits. We regularly communicate reminders through social media, and signs are prominently displayed around the site, requesting considerate parking practices.

We have closely collaborated with the local council to determine the best ways to manage traffic flow. We hope that all attendees will adhere to these instructions. However, if you come across any instances of illegal parking, we encourage you to report them to the local police at leos@westmidlandspolice.uk.

If you encounter inconsiderate parking practices that may not be illegal but are deemed disruptive, such as leaving limited space on pavements or parking on corners, and the owners of the vehicle are attending a TOP event, we encourage you to take photos of the parked car, including the registration plate, date, and time. Please send these photos to mazamil@theoltonproject.com. If the parking superintendent determines the behaviour to be inconsiderate, a warning will be issued to the attendee. If there is a second instance of inconsiderate parking, a fine of £50 will be requested from the attendee before they can use TOP facilities again, with the funds directed to the local resident association.

The Olton Project is committed to ensuring a safe and considerate parking environment for all our visitors and attendees. We believe that by following these guidelines and working together, we can maintain a positive experience for everyone at our facilities. Your cooperation in adhering to these parking policies is greatly appreciated, and it helps us create a more pleasant and efficient environment for all. We look forward to your continued support and participation in our events and activities while keeping our parking facilities orderly and safe. Thank you for choosing The Olton Project as your destination for recreation and events.
