A monthly gathering for new Muslims and those interested in embracing Islam, hosted by Daniel and Suzan.
A safe space to meet, learn and ‘re-view’ what you’ve learnt so far*.
Whether you have attended sessions with us before or not, this is an opportunity to learn more about Islam with reminders aimed at the right level for you. You can ask questions in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space and have your ‘view’. Re-View attendees are invited to present as well as benefit from other new-Muslims’ discussions and experiences. It’s is also a great chance to meet local brothers and sisters going through the same journey on the path to Allah.
“I first attended Re-View in April 2021, due to my curiosity around Islam. I was greeted by Suzan and Dan who were so welcoming and encouraging. The group was small but full of kindness and wisdom. I got the answer to so many of my questions. I felt reassured and listened to. The group is an eclectic mix of ages and ethnicities with one common thread, starting/continuing our journey in Islam. There is such a relaxed atmosphere, open to questions and no pressure. I felt so at home and at peace at TOP, I made the decision to take my Shahada there. My only regret is I did not do it sooner in life. The support is ongoing via monthly Re-View groups and also from Suzan & Dan on a regular basis when required.”
Re-View is held at TOP on the 1st Thursday of each month at 7:30pm.
*Please note that Re-View sessions are exclusively for new-Muslims or non-Muslims, so Muslim friends/supporters should not attend also. The reason for this is that the dynamics change within the group and there may be pressure or judgment whereby the attendees may not feel free to speak openly.
